recap.
quite the weekend.
yep.
friday night i watched a couple movies, one of them being "Across The Universe".
i was REALLY looking forward to watching this. like.... really.
i love the beatles and it looked amazing and it looked like it got good reviews... and everyone i know loved it.
well... i must say that i wasnt blown away.
i thought it was good, but not what i expected. i felt like it was way too long and they strtched a lot of junk in it... and i didnt like how some of the songs just didnt feel right in the movie. like it was almost forced at times.
and a lot of the characters were WAY underdeveloped... but whatever. it was entertaining and well done, but just not what i was hoping for.
then other stuff.
last night was the second WCR bout of the season, and it was a little crazy.
in the Hell's Belles VS Double Crossers bout, i dont know what happened, but the XXers seemed to just fall apart after the first half and the hell's belles won by like 50 points or something. i will also say that it was a rough night to be a ref, so yea. dang. im NOT a ref, but i definitely appreciate what they have to do and deal with.
rough job.
the Fury vs Manic Attackers bout was decent, too. the fury won, but MA looked good and i think theyll only be getting better this year, so im looking forward to seeing how that develops.
after track tear down and whatnot i got to meet up with everyone at cobra lounge - solid.
apparently caused some topics for discussion/gossip, but whatever. im sure everyone can deal with it.
so kiss my grits.

ooh ooh! I want gossip! Since I was one of the unmoved refs, I did not go to Cobra. Really it was because I was beat and hungry. But I want the dish mister .For what it is worth, I have a lovely bruise from my bunny hop flop shenanigans. And I prefer to eat my grits not kiss them.
